So I'm back at the beach today, same spot, same amount of dogs. When today I get the added bonus of a middle aged (very much like to say GAY here) man wearing a peach and blue floral speedo suntanning about 15 feet from me. I thought the weirdos only went to wreck beach?? They must be spilling over onto the next closest beach i guess. I hope he didnt catch me looking...its hard not to zoom in on the banana hammock when its staring at you in the face in all its bulgy floral glory. I took some pictures while i was there, but unfortunatley for you, none of the guy. And as soon as someone tells me how to post pictures in the middle of my post (i tried the "insert picture" thing but it wouldnt let me), I will share them with you. Damn nice out today I tells ya..the water was even different colors.

Oh! and there was this weird lookin dog there too. It looked like a small, tighter haired lassie. but it had about 2 inch legs!! It was like a dog-sausage...but less tasty looking. really fat too. It was hilarious watching it trot around like a pig..with shorter legs. Why would you make a dog like that I have no idea...seems kinda cruel.

My bum is getting more adjusted. I took a day off yesterday from riding my bike..seemed to help. The quad burning was less today too. Progress! Yesterday I went for another run..this time staying away from the hill, and going to the big park instead. It went great..I ended up going all the way to the university (i had no idea what was gonna happen) and it took me over an hour to get back..but its a great path. I think i'll reserve that route for a long run on the weekends, and do a bit shorter one during the week. we'll see how the legs feel.

Today I tried to do the animal care course that i need before i play with the rats, but apparently i have to mail in a cheque for the fee and wait for it to be processed before i can go ahead...so i guess i'll try again next week. Takes a good 3 hours stan said so its a good thing i have plenty of time right now. Oh and I might have to pay 700 bucks for medical insurance...HA. we'll see about that. I'm coming back to saskatchewan in 2 years, right? right?

I found the tennis courts by my house too. They're nothing special, but they'll do if i ever find someone to play with! Unfortunately it doesnt have a hitting board so i cant really go by myself. Unless I just practice serving. with no ball boy, i cant see that happening often. Anyway, the view from the courts is amazing. You can see downtown, north van, everything. Its awesome. Makes me worried though..I dont want to become accustomed to it and lose my appreciation for it. I've waited my whole life to be on the coast, so I want to get as much out of it as I can. It helps to just go sit on the beach and stare...we'll see what happens. Leaving saskatchewna sure made me appreciate all the things I love about it though. Bring on the flatness any day!
